The Peacemaker Relaxes

Colt 1873 Single Action replica by Uberti / Stoeger, in .45 LC
Propped in the shade of an old oak tree, the crafty Colt 1873 Single Action replica relaxes quietly and takes in the sun. He knows his time will come again. He knows he's not forgotten by those who count, and that he will soon have the joy of making great booms while lobbing 250 grain chunks of spinning lead downrange to the 50 yard target. He knows he will get to explode a water jug at 25 yards. He knows ... he knows. And so he rests, patiently, waiting.

The grass and clover feel nice, and conveniently hide him from the public eye. So he stays hidden away, watching as other guns are in danger because they make too much fuss of themselves. But not the Single Action revolver. Not the Peacemaker. No, not this time. There was a time when he was famous. Now he enjoys his anonymity. Confident, at peace, he relaxes.

A full interview with this aged star will be published shortly.

Keep it clean and courteous people. Lively is good, mean spirited is bad. Thanks for participating!
